​What did you think of our timber feature wall on House Rules?

A short while ago Channel 7’s 'House Rules' contestants, Mel and Dave, contacted us needing some timber feature wall panels for what we later found out was to become Jess and Jarrod's guest bedroom.
Of course, they needed them immediately and  they needed them in Adelaide. Fortunately, we had them in stock and raced them across the country to meet their deadline. 

​Our office was buzzing with excitement when Episode 5 of House Rules launched and couldn't wait to see how it turned out.
It looked incredible - contestants Mel and Dave had done an AMAZING job.
We were so sure the wood wall was going to get fantastic feedback, but then... Laurence - judge of Channel 7’s House Rules and King of unpopular opinions, spoke;

“How is that 'Warehouse New York'?
​It looks like an outside dunny.”

Oh dear..

​Despite Laurence’s negative reaction, judges Wendy Moore and Drew Heath loved the timber feature wall. They commented that not only did Mel and Dave tick off a house rule but that the room was playful, it had texture and was very well done. 

Phew!

Jess doing the touchy feely thing.

They had chosen our "brushed pipeline" wall panels, (one of our best selling products), for its look, feel and ease of installation.
Jess and Jarod's reaction was exactly what we'd hoped for. Jess, like most of our customers, was immediately drawn to touch it, saying..

“That feature wall is awesome. That looks great.”

It's a shame we didn't get to see them installing it - our pre-made panels are such a great DIY option.
