Recycled Timber Decking
100% Recycled. Reclaimed. Sustainable. All Australian Hardwood.
Our recycled decking boards have been developed to to accommodate those looking for both traditional and rustic decking.
Our decking boards are milled down from recycled timbers sourced from the demolition of old buildings such as houses, schools, warehouses and factories.
From this, we produce quite "clean, as new decking boards" in our recycled browns, reds, or mixed hardwoods decking or various more rustic versions such as our "Shearers' Verandah" decking.
Our techniques are versatile and the coatings on the market abundant, so feel free to give us a call for a chat about what suits your needs best.
Our decking is routinely milled to an 85 x 19mm board, but if you're after wider boards, take a look at our fabulous railway sleeper decking boards, available in a 200 x 25mm board.

It is important to remember that all hardwood decks, red or cream, will turn grey and weathered if not maintained with UV protectant oils or coatings. Often, this is exactly the look people are trying to achieve with recycled timbers, but if you want your deck to remain looking new and fresh, oiling at least once a year is a necessity.
Grading of Recycled Timber Decking and Flooring
Our range of recycled decking and recycled flooring are graded as "Run of the Mill" Grade.
As well as natural features such as knots, gum vein, insect markings, check splits and black spec allowable by Australian Standard AS2796, our recycled products may also display features such as nail, screw or bolt holes (clustered or isolated), black marks or discolourations from oxidation, chisel marks and notches. We consider these markings to be an integral attraction of the product.
Our boards are graded on one face only, and machining marks or skipping are not permissable at anytime on the face side of a Low Feature board.
It is important for buyers to understand these differences prior to purchase, as no claims with repect to grading will be considered after purchase.
Feel free to drop into our warehouse, or discuss the grading with our sales team.
