Suitable for the whole house

You can lay Timber Top® over any sound, dry and flat subfloor. Concrete, tiles, linoleum and old floorboards are all acceptable subfloors. Timber Top® is suitable for every room in your home including kitchens. We do not recommend it for use in wet areas, such as bathrooms, en-suites and laundries, however, kitchens are fine.

No toxic fumes. Timber Top® is prefinished. It will provide you with a solid timber floor in a matter of hours, without the mess, disruption and toxic fumes, which come with the installation of a traditional wooden floor.

Environmentally friendly

Timber Top® is constructed from three layers of cross laminated hardwood. The top wear layer is made of selected hardwood and the bottom and middle layers are from plantation-grown timbers.

This manufacturing process produces an extremely stable and durable product. We use less hardwood, thus helping to preserve valuable resource.

Top wear layer and finish

Timber Top® is factory coated with five layers of UV-cured acrylic lacquer achieving an elegant 65% gloss level.

This provides a tough and durable surface and because Timber Top® has such a generous wear layer it can be re-sanded and sealed a number of times.

Allergy Free

Being a hardwood floor, Timber Top® is ideal for asthma or allergy sufferers.

Installation

Timber Top® can be laid by a professional installer, or an experienced handyman.

Timber Top® Range Floor Care

The Timber Top® Range has been factory finished with 6 coates of UV cured, wear resistant acrylic lacquer, this makes Timber Top® one of the most hardwearing timber floors available.

These simple maintenance procedures will ensure your floor stays looking beautiful day in day out.

• Use walk off mats at all entries to reduce the amount of dirt and grit that is brought inside on to the floor.
• Place felt pads on the legs of tables and chairs and on the bases of any movable furniture that is likely to scratch the surface of the floor.
• Ensure that your floor is kept clean and free of grit by using a Electrostatic Fringe Mop to keep your floor clean.
• Spot clean you floor using Zip Cleaner and a Microfiber Mop.
• Periodically, you will need to wash your floor using a damp mop or Microfibre Mop with Deep Cleaner mixed in the water. (It is important that the mop has not been used with any other cleaning products or detergents and is dedicated to you Timber Floor).
• Place mats in high traffic areas to reduce wear
• After a period of use you floor may start looking a little dull applying Nu Life Gloss Polish will bring you floor back to that wonderful gloss

Timber Top® Range Warranty

The Timber Top® Range is covered by a Lifetime Structural Warranty & 25 Year Wear Warranty.
This warranty covers all types of structural defects such as delamination, splitting, checking and twisting.

The following condition apply:

• Not recommended for wet areas such as bathrooms, toilets and laundries.
• Maintenance program must be followed.
• Installation must be in accordance with the installation instructions for Timber Top® flooring products.
